Kit & Caboodle, based in Southsea, Hampshire, has reinvented the traditional concept of house clearance.  After personal experience, we felt there was a real need to focus on people who may be suffering the loss of a loved one, going through a divorce, moving to a smaller home or just simply in need of a good clear-out. 


In the midst of a loss or an emotional move, families often find themselves in a position where personal belongings need to be sold or cleared in a timely fashion, which can be overwhelming and certainly unexpected.  This can be an incredibly emotional process, and can consume a considerable amount of time and energy on the part of family members.


This is where we come in.  We at Kit & Caboodle feel that families should not have to pay to take unwanted possessions away, only for the house clearer to sell these items on or simply dispose of them.  We keep the family's best interests at heart, carefully managing the items in the home, treating them like our own, to ensure they’re sold or removed in a timely manner.  We then arrange packaging and posting of the items, and then offer the option to clean the property afterwards. 

Managing a family house clearance at the best of times can be daunting and time consuming.  During the current Covid climate, this process can be virtually impossible. Here at K&C, we are very mindful of the risks of working in someone's home for all parties. We wear masks and sanitise our hands and equipment prior to entering client premises, and we are tested regularly, maintaining good health and fitness.


We manage the process efficiently and maximise returns. We give our clients peace of mind by minimising stress at a difficult time.
